Don’t you travel?

“Not all those who wander are lost.”
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

Wrote a little folks, hope you like it.

Travel far enough.
Not to find yourself. but to remember who you’ve been all along.

Don’t you travel?
We all do.
To soothe the longing ache,
Of your never ending wanderlust.

To discover infinite paths
Which has no leaps and bounds

Day after day, day after day,
To cross seas and rivers
To see the majestic ocean,
Lying idle on the face of earth,
As if admiring the sky.

We bump each other.
Cross paths,
Heading to the same place,
But taking different routes.

I’m not perfect for your journey,
And you’re not perfect for mine,
But  you’re perfect for your journey,
And I’m perfect for mine.

All things both great and small;
To witness.
My destination is a place might be,
But absolutely a new way of seeing things.

May be the end doesn’t matter.
May be the journey matters most.

May be the places doesn’t matter,
May be whom you travel with matters.

So, every day is a journey filled with twists and turns.
Every day, if you smile, you will feel alive!

Last Christmas

Last Christmas,
When you rambled through my mind,
You left imprints on my soul.
You bruised your knee, climbing through the fence.

The gate was open.
The bells ringed the hymns of heaven.
And you wanted to leave flowers by the door.
And your light lanterned through my spine.
Left glowing hair.

Your spring bouquet was in bits
And scattered across the neighbour’s yard.
And then the colours of winters abducted my vision.
The sweet smell of the snow fall,
Cleared my crowded mind.
Coloured leaves crackled below my glistening path
The crisp air and warm shadows,
Wrapping it’s breathe around,
Captivated my senses again and again.

I baked you a cake.
With the scintillating almonds.
And the juicy orange pellets.
And the strawberry crumbs.
And the left over from pudding,
I had last night.

“You asked, is there enough in my garden for you?”
Or I should fill you along, for which I longed for forever?

Within me, you are tangled
As the butterfly, entangled within the cocoon.
As the roots, stay close to moist mud.
As the sun, basking in the moonlight.

A rainstorm. I was scared.
I was scared that I would lose all the rain, that I carried.
All the rain that did exist. Or may be not.

But the scent it left thereafter.
I realized I had it all. In me. The clouds.
The ones who could not stand,
Being away from the earth any longer, poured down.

To feel the mud once again.
Because they were too tired to float.

The rain orchestered through the winds.
We danced all night.
Swam in the sea, holding hands up to the sky.

And I paused, and believed you would too.
And you did.
All was calm.
All was bright.

After all no one’s never too old for fairy tales.
This christmas has been more than special. I’ll share the story soon.
Like and share. Follow to keep in touch. 🙂

Do you write stories?

Do you write stories?

Here you own everything that happens to you.
You, your life, your stories.

Want to write one?
So, phrase by phrase.
Add some rain. And it’s smell.
Would you mind adding some noise? Some whispers?
Some glitter of her eyes.

You like sour? You like sweet?
So add some lemony tang or a martini twist.
Some tears. Especially the salty ones!
Some broken strands of hair.
That time in your mother’s lap! ❤
Never ending hugs. Or that gentle kiss?

Won’t you write about those giggles? That laughter.
All that wait and longing.
Some love. Some emptiness?

People, places and memories. Remember some?
Were there any worth writing for?
What were the best things that happened to you in your journey?
And don’t forget write about how it started.

All it needs to wait and see how the story ends.
Or may be it’s not about the ending.
Happy, or sad.
May be it’s about the story.

After all at the end, we all are just stories.

Do write one. Start today 🙂 In other words I mean, life is short and is meant for living, live it to the fullest. Gather as much memories you can and create a beautiful tale. Do share if you like! and follow the blog for more posts, plus check previous ones, you gonna like them.
