A ThankYou Note

“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

On this thanksgiving what I sent my near and dear ones! let me share with you guys. 😉

To new beginnings.
in fear and faith.
in gratitude to whirling morrows.

To the change.
in acceptance and ignorance.
in a belief that everyday can’t be good,
but something good happens everyday!

To Hope.
in making things happen.
in feelin’ being home!
for smile is the perfect solution for all problems.
Celebrating friendships,
not for a day.
but for ever!

Yes, friendship is all about caring about each other, telling not what you want them to listen but what they need to listen. And thus getting pychos together! I always say ” Let’s waste time, Chasing cars” 😉 Friends Forever ❤ I have written more about friendship, do check my earlier posts, Handle with care and Yawning Connections.

May be it’s not about the happy ending.
It’s about the story that matters.
Thanks for being there.
Thank You for everything!

Another thing, your shopping season is on and are you ready with your list? Want to know what no one told you about shopping and lifegoals?

Did you ever smell a memory?

Did you ever smell a memory?

Like when someone passes by
Or a gush of wind hits your face
Like when someone hits the right chord right there
Or an old song that you hear by the radio.

Like when someone brews the morning coffee
Or the sound of the leaves flowing through the gusty wind.
Like when someone opens your inner closet
Or you go through the pages of a really old novel

And the scent it left just reminds you
of something.

People, places and memories.
You can’t even remember now.
Somehow it makes you so happy
Somehow it makes you feel connected
Somehow it ushers a new you in you.
A smile.

Next thing you know,
You’ve been searching your mind palace
Opening doors of past,
Peeping through each of those windows.
Trying to find that specific scent.
Like a whisper among infinite noises!

And sometimes you find that forgotten smell sometimes you don’t.
But you got to live that moment.
Every bit of it, like forever.

That’s called nostalgia friends! A forgotten dream or the first poem you ever loved!

Like and share! 🙂

Wish to change? Why?

We are each thread in the tapestry of life, an instrument in the divine orchestra, a color of the rainbow and the entire spectrum, unique and yet part of the same whole, you are me and I m you! Embrace your uniqueness.

So I saw he was constantly delved into the idea that “People change so do YOU!” That’s not so right. You can’t just change for others.
So, C-H-A-N-G-E This six letter word. They say change is the only constant phenomenon. Right.

Ever wondered what’s common between people, perceptions and priorities? They change. That’s what you’ll hear from everyone out there. But the truth is one doesn’t change, it’s just the mask that falls off. You are perfect as you are. Imperfectly though.
How hard you try to change, you would gravitate back. Why? Because. .. Because it’s meant to be that way. So don’t think much. Don’t think ever to change for someone. You can’t wish to change yourself for people. After all why you are the one who has to change in order to compromise? You want to change? Change for yourself. For the greater good. But not for someone who doesn’t even care about how you are right now. The sole reason for change should be YOU yourself. Only you. Gandhi said, “Be the change, you want to see.” There must be a reason. No?

Seen a butterfly? It is the result of a transformation from the caterpillar. If there were no change in this world., there would be no butterflies. It changes for itself, it’s SOUL. Well well, nature continues to teach us the basics of living!

It all happens as its meant to be. Things go in the right direction. All it requires is to wait and see how the story ends. When its finished. You would notice things weren’t random at all.

Take care. Wanna read more? How to change one’s perception towards change! Like the post? Share it with your loved ones. Let them know you care. And don’t forget to follow to miss any posts. ☺

It’s been a long while.

The artist has been painting snapshots from life.
To our surprise, the artist is struck somewhere.

“Everyday I get a new response,
A view from another direction.
I don’t know it’s your mind, soul, heart or you itself.”

It’s changing like seasons.
Everyday a new color added to the canvas!
This leaves the artist with questions, to which she can’t find answers.

“I keep sketching the portrait, started a year ago…”, she said.
Haven’t erased a stroke yet, but adding fresh ones.
Searching for coherency, searching for that familiar face.

The hues are scattered, the corona is spotless.
The picture seems to be muddled in itself.

“Why do you do this!?
Can’t it be more simple?”

This was a poem depicting emotions of an individual who’s trapped
within his or her conscience between right and wrong.

Thoughts on this? Help her out!

What relates Shopping and Life Goals?

Life’s  good. Has been always comfortably great.
Life’s messed up. Has been always systematically chaotic.

I have a busy life. It’s like a booby trap, work, work and work.

We all go through such emotions.  It’s natural unless one feel like the Albert Einstein who says If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things. But it’s natural for us to tie emotionally and obviously ourselves and our lives with the people and the circumstances around.

When it comes to shopping, I hear people say big fat quotes, Shopping is my drug! Shopping is my cardio! Shopaholics tend to say that. I differ.
Just tell me who doesn’t like shopping stuff, all you need is to be filthily rich to spend dollars without looking at the price-tag or brands or the variety of colors and  beauty!
Ah it just takes my breathe away. So, tell me who doesn’t like shopping!

And another point to be noted, when one is fat or not attractive enough to oneself, when one has got faults, then what? Would you enjoy shopping? Looking at the mannequins clad up in perfect dresses in their perfect waistline. And you end up rather upset at your shopping spree!

A friend of mine says A thick wallet and a thin waist, all you need for shopping! Voila I couldn’t agree less.

Money matters. Yes it does. In this world glittering with beauty, it does matter. People say money can’t buy happiness, those dumbos don’t  know where to shop. After all who doesn’t want to be happy. That’s the real life goal of each one of us undoubtedly.

I know, I know I am wrong, I know where to find happiness. Happiness lies in friendship, Happiness lies in sharing smiles! OMG I’m getting tears of happiness remembering all those beautiful times I’ve spent with my loved ones.

But when it comes to shopping I can’t be less annoyed because the day reminds me again of me being fat, me being with so many faults!

The movie, The Great Gatsby, Gatsby could buy anything in this world, but could he buy happiness? Never.
On the hand in the Secret Life of Walter Mitty, he had nothing but he had all. Happiness. Passion. To know himself. To find himself.

So, what are life goals? My mother says, life should be as if you should be satisfied and have no want of anything. I don’t know whether I’m able to put her thoughts in the right way.
I feel when I see myself telling my mother, honestly that I DID IT, that would be the best day of my life.

After this realization over shopping, I’ve come to a conclusion that what should be one’s life’s goal, say where do you see yourself five years down the line, I say like umm not looking at the price-tag while shopping. Ultimate goal, I must say. LOL.

Well, I don’t know where to shop life goals but I can certainly say what you must do! The ABC to SUCCESS. Coming soon in my next blog-post 🙂

Stay Awesome!
